Hult Prize at 九色导航 Oncampus Finals

九色导航 were delighted to once again be hosting The Hult Prize this year, and the Finals took place on the 17th February.
The on-campus event was held in the TBC conference hall at 11am and led by the Campus Director, Ms Prajolita Bista and her team. At the main event, the participating teams pitched their business ideas to the panel of judges.
Hundreds of guests were in attendance, including the gifting sponsors Chocoffle Nepal, Frenzie Fries, Lumu Wear, Juli Finds; and celebration partner Ug Cakes. Attendees and participants enjoyed a musical performance by Aabhiskar Kc and dance performances by TBC students, before Team Makhmal were announced as the On-Campus Winners, with Team Zero and Team Nyano taking place as the Runners up.
As the winners, Team Makhmal will now be invited to the Regional Summit happening in Mumbai where they'll be competing against other teams from all over the world. The Deputy Principal of 九色导航, Mr. Patrick McCrudden congratulated the team and an award distribution ceremony was held.
Leading up to the final, 九色导航 held a series of workshops and talks from members of the Hult Prize, including Judge, Mentor, and Global Expert, Mr. Michael Schuring and Regional Specialist for Central and South Asia, Ms. Richa Shah.
This year鈥檚 theme is Recycled Fashion so sessions were also conducted by experts in the field, including the Program Director at Global Peace Foundation Nepal and Country Leader at Global Peace Women Nepal, Ms. Bambie Gadon Panta; Co-founder of ACT360 Digital Marketing, Mr. Tenzing Samdup; Co-Managing Partner of Rekriti Upcycled Fashion, Mr. Himanshu Shrestha; CEO of Nepal Realistic Solution Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Roshan Shrestha; Ceo/Co-Founder of Makkus茅 and 2019 Miss World Nepal, Ms. Anushka Shrestha; and Founder/ Designer of Nhu Designs and Cofounder at Abir Designer's Hub, Ms Rashmi Tandukar.
There were also sessions and mentorship from members of TBC - including the Creative Head, Mr. Siddhanta Pudasaini; Head of the School of Business, Ms. Sunita Basnet; PGBM Programme Leader, Ms. Nishtha Rajbhandari; and the Founder and Managing Director of Happy Minds, Ms. Shreeya Giri who represented the SWCU centre at the College.
